We offer clients the safe, confidential and trusting environment that is key to clients making the changes they need in order to live a healthier, happier, satisfying and rewarding life.
How Do We Work
Typcially, we will agree to work together for six sessions. In the first session, we will clarify what you want to achieve and develop specific goals, we will use the remaining five sessions to help you take the necessary steps for you to move forward towards achieving your goals.
Our Approach
Two chairs offers the following developmental approaches to suit your individual needs:
Life Coaching - helps you to achieve your ambitions or aspirations for living the life you choose.
Personal Development - helps you to change something about yourself such as becoming more assertive, more confident or thinking more positively.
Counselling - helps you to deal with a specific problem that is currently disrupting your life. It could be a specific event such as a bereavement or relationship problem. It could be an addictive behaviour such as smoking, drug or alcohol dependency. It could be a health problem such as stress, anxiety or depression.
Psychotherapy - is a longer term process that, when you feel consistently overwhelmed by your difficulties, helps you to rebuild your path to a more stable and healthy future.
Case Studies
The following cases illustrate the range of problems and outcomes that clients have achieved in working with Two Chairs.
Andrew - owned a very successful manufacturing business. He was able to overcome his problem of panic attacks. He regained his energy, drive and ambition. The business has subsequently achieved considerable growth.
Lucy - wanted to become more assertive. She learned how to recognise her needs and meet them without feeling guilty.
Mary - was struggling to get on with her life after the break up of a long marriage. Once she had overcome her guilt, she discovered her inner strength and progressively was able to live her own life.
